Description

The fruit for 2019 Alpine Valleys ‘Koala’ Chardonnay was sourced from Greenacres Vineyard, Merriang South in the Victorian High Country. The wine was made under contract by Jo Marsh and her team using the finest quality new and used French Oak.

Following the complete loss of the 2020 vintage in the Alpine Valleys due to the devastating bushfires, we reached out to the talented James Giddy to create a label to substitute our traditional design. The result is a label featuring the koala, which became a symbol of the impact the fires had on native wildlife.

Thanks to Jo, Brian, Linda and James for bringing this wine to market!
